Terms & Conditions

By placing an order with The Wandering WoodCraft, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Payment Terms & Order Processing

• Production will not begin until payment is received as outlined below.

• First-time customers and all custom orders require payment in full at the time the order is placed.

• Orders over $200 require a 50% non-refundable deposit. The remaining balance must be paid in full prior to pick-up or shipment.

• Orders will not be released or shipped with an outstanding balance.

• Payment terms will be detailed on your invoice and must be honored as agreed.

Accepted payment methods:

• Visa

• MasterCard

• American Express

• Discover

• PayPal

Cash is not accepted for custom projects.

2. Custom Orders & Minimums

• All custom orders require a minimum purchase of $200.

• Custom requests below $200 may be accepted at the sole discretion of the company.

• A minimum lead time of 14 business days is required for custom production.

• Expedited production and/or shipping is available for an additional fee.

The Wandering WoodCraft reserves the right to decline or discontinue any project that does not align with company processes, production standards, ethics, operational capacity, or quality expectations.

3. Artwork & Design Approval

All artwork must be approved before production begins.

• Production will not begin until payment is received.

• Clients are fully responsible for reviewing and approving all proofs.

• This includes spelling, grammar, layout, sizing, and design details.

• Email approval or written confirmation constitutes a binding agreement for production and payment.

If an error is approved and production proceeds, reprints will require full payment for materials, labor, and setup fees.

4. Artwork Fees & Setup Charges

• A $35 drawing/setup fee applies to all custom orders.

• A $35 one-time logo preparation fee applies if artwork is not production-ready.

• Low-resolution or unusable artwork may require redesign at $60 per hour.

• We reserve the right to determine whether artwork is production-ready.

• All approved artwork is archived for future use and will not incur additional setup fees for repeat orders unless modifications are required.

Quotes and estimates are provided after the drawing/setup fee is received. All quotes are estimates until a final invoice is issued.

5. Shipping & Turnaround

• Standard shipping timeframe is 10–14 business days after production is completed.

• Estimated completion and shipping timelines will be communicated.

• Expedited services are available for an additional fee.

Shipping delays caused by carriers are outside of our control.

6. Local Pickup Policy

Local pickup is available by appointment only.

• Customers will be notified when their order is complete.

• Pickup must be scheduled and confirmed in advance.

• Full payment must be received prior to pickup.

Orders not picked up within 30 days of completion, without communication, may be subject to storage fees or forfeiture at the company’s discretion.

7. Natural Wood Disclaimer

Our products are handcrafted from natural and reclaimed wood. Variations are not defects — they are part of the material’s inherent character.

Wood products may include:

• Color variation

• Grain differences

• Nail or mortise holes

• Insect markings

• Livestock cribbing

• Mineral streaking

• Wane or tapering

No two pieces will look identical. Product appearance may vary from website images.

8. Graphics & Display Disclaimer

All product images are original photographs of items created in-house.

Due to differences in screen displays and lighting, colors and tones may vary slightly from what appears on your device.

9. Product Care & Maintenance

Cutting Board Care

• Wash with warm water and mild soap.

• For stains or odors, use lemon juice or white vinegar.

• Allow board to dry completely before oiling.

• Apply food-safe mineral oil generously and allow to soak overnight when possible.

• Apply board cream after oiling and buff into surface.

• Oil monthly or when wood feels dry.

Outdoor Sign Care

• Clean gently with soap and water.

• Reapply a thin coat of outdoor clear polyacrylic every 2–3 years, depending on sun exposure.

• If chipping occurs, lightly sand (150 grit or higher) and reapply coating.

Improper care or exposure to extreme environmental conditions may void responsibility for replacement.

10. Refunds & Cancellations

Due to the custom nature of our products:

• Deposits are non-refundable.

• Custom orders are non-refundable once production has begun.

• Orders canceled prior to production may be subject to administrative or design fees.

11. Limitation of Liability

The Wandering WoodCraft shall not be held liable for incidental, indirect, or consequential damages resulting from product use, misuse, improper care, or environmental exposure.
